Mr, Julian Foster, the United States Trade Commissioner to New Zealand, told the Pacific Foreign Trade Council that New Zealand had tlfe greatest pel' capita wealth of any country. He said that New Zealand buys 90 per cent of its motor cars from the United States because they are better hill climbers than the European machines.
