OBITUARY.

MR. CHARLES GRANT.

A well-known resident of Auckland, Mr. Charles Grant, died last week. He was well known on the waterfront as he had, for 17 years, been manager of the Auckland Hailors' Home.. Jjater, Mr. Grant was in the employ of the Union Steamship Company. He is survived by his wife, five sons, six daughters, 20 grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren. RE G. W. LOCHORE. A well-known Presbyterian minister, the Rev. George Wright Loehore, died at the manse, Whangarei, aged 47 years. Mr. Loehore had been in failing health for some time. A man of charming personality, he made many friends. Deceased was in charge of a Presbyterian church in Wellington before coming to Auckland in 1918. He was married here to a Miss Eushbrook, who survives her husband. There are four children. Sir. Loehore held the position of Moderator of the Auckland Presbytery prior to the formation of the North Auckland Presbytery.
