MR. RICHARD STARK.

At the age of 83 years, Mr. Richard Stark died at his home Koraha Street, Remuera, on Sunday night. Born in Limerick, Ireland, Mr. Stark arrived in New Zealand by the ship Blue Jacket in the early fifties. He was farming for many years in Canterbury before coming to the Waikato in 189], when he took up a large area of land at AValton. Twentyfive years ago, Mr. Stark retired and came to live at Remuera. He is survived by Mrs. Stark, and the following children:—Messrs, H. R. and A. S. Stark, of Auckland, C. J. Stark, of Hamilton, W. F. and T. .0. Stark, of Morrinsville, and E. J. and G. H. Stark, of Hungahunga, and Mrs. G. Mason, of Matamata. There are 25 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
