PETROL PRICES
MOTORISTS' DISCUSSION. AGREEMENT WITH TRADE SOUGHT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Representatives of the motor traders and the executive of tiie South Island Motor Union conferred in committee til is evening on the question of petrol prices. The following resolution was carried:— That in the opinion of this conference it is in the best interests of motorists and the Motor Traders' Association that some mutual arrangement be come to between this union and the Motor Traders' Association for the importation and distribution of petrol in the South Island, and that a further conference be arranged between the South Island Motor Union and representatives of the Motor Traders' Association to work out details.
