MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

HON. H. ATMORE IN CITY. MR. STALLWORTHY GOING NORTH. The Hon. H. Atmore (Minister of Education) arrived at Auckland from Tauranga last evening and is at the Star Hotel. This morning the Minister met the Auckland Education Board at ll o'clock and discussed the problem of unemployed teachers and other important questions. This afternoon the Minister visited the Seddon Memorial Technical College, where he met the Board of Governors and was we. 1 coined by the pupils. A gathering of United party supporters is beinjr held this afternoon for the purpose of extending a welcome to Mr. Atmore and the Minister of Health (Hou. A. J. Stallworthy). To-morrow a number of deputations will be received by Mr. Atmore at the Ministerial rooms in the chief post office building, Queen Street. The new home at Mount Albert for secondary school wards of the State will be opened by the Minister to-morrow afternoon. Several city and suburban schools will be visited by the Minister on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday he will meet the University College Council and inspect the college. An inspection of the Auckland Grammar schools will be made on Thursday, and after a busy week Mr. Atmore will leave for the South on Friday. The Minister of Health (Hon. A. ,T. Stallworthy) will return from the Waikato this afternoon, when he will attend the United party's reception. To-morrow the Minister will go to Warkvvorth, where he will open the Jubilee Show. Mr. Stallworthy will motor to Whangarei on Sunday. The Whangarei Hospital and Kamo Springs will be visited on Monday, when the Minister will meet the Whangarei Hospital Board. In the evening he will go to Dargaville, and on Tuesday will inspect Te Kopuru Hospital. Mr. Stallworthy will return to Auckland on Wednesday, joining the Limited express for Wellington in the evening. The Postmaster-General (Hon. J. B. Donald) will leave Auckland on Sunday. He proposes to motor to Wellington via the East Coast.
