AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

The market opened satisfactorily this morning on 'Change. Kempthorne Prosser Drug had business reported at £3 14/, and buyers offered 1/ less for further lines, but no seller quoted. Business was also reported in Xew Zealand Breweries at £2 18/7%. Sales were also made of Xew Zealand Insurance at £2 7/3, South British at £3 4/, and Nationals at 16/4.

Union Bank shares are still wanted at £15 15/, and a saie was again reported at £15 17/. Further business was also done in Bank of Xew Zealand shares at £3 2/. Business was reported in Xational Bank of Australasia ordinary shares at £18 19/. Xew Zealand and' River Plate shares were wanted to-day at £1 13/, and P. and O. deferred stock were offered at £3 1/6, but buyers remained at £2 19/ C.
