The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board also reports the following shipments of frozen meat from the Dominion for the last quarter of 1928:—Beef, 21,483 quarters; mutton, 193,017 carcases; lamb, 371,356 carcases; and pork, 34,181 carcases. The total for the same quarter in 1927 was: Beef, 27,877 quarters; mutton, 249,520 carcases; lamb, 421,666 carcases, and pork, 17,070 carcases.
