RECORD POLL EXPECTED.

In Manukau a very heavy poll is cxpeeted. In fact Mr. D. Smith, deputy returning officer, anticipates that it "will bo the heaviest ever recorded. Up till 2 o'clock this afternoon the heaviest voting took place at the Epsom Methodist and Royal Oak booths. Onehunga was fairly quiet during the morning, but a rush set in this afternoon, and officials were kept very busy.
