POLITICAL SCANDAL.
Result Of Injunction On Sale
Of Russian Art.
TROUBLE IN BERLIN
(United Service.)
LONDON, November 8.
The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily News" says a political scandal of the first magnitude has arisen as a result of the injunction granted in connection with the sale by the Soviet of confiscated works of art.
The Foreign Minister, Herr Stresemann, is involved in grave complications with the Soviet. The whole Foreign Office is in an uproar. Cypher messages are passing between Moscow and Berlin.
Many persons believe that the injunction will culminate in the success of Monarchist intrigues which are caused by the German aristocrats' sympathising with the Russian emigres.
