HEAVY RAIN OVERNIGHT.
CALLANMORE BEST GALLOP.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) W ELLINGTON, this dav. Heavy rain overnight made the work a good deal slower at Trent ham this morning. All work was done on the grass, except some by two-years-olds on the course proper. Commendation, under a good pull, ran home over four furlongs in 535. Battle Torque and Bourse sprinted home.
Beacon Light, looking well, paced a round.
Joy King, Star Stranger and False Scent were given useful work. None of the trio is racing until Monday. Arrow Lad and Royal Game covered four furlongs in 51s. Mask did an easv four furlongs in 565.
Pink Note strode nut. Royal Lineage went well over four furlongs in 535. . Keddar and Shining Armour ran six furlongs in 1.20 2-5. Teri and Volplane's time for five furlongs was 1.7. Black Mint covered the Inst three fur-lcn«-s of a round in 51 2-ss. Wliite F.uiar sprinted five furlongs in 1.4 4-ss. tlie last four in 51 2-ss. T. Green rides him to-morrow. Goshawk. The Hawk. Benzora and Partaga were given good pace work. Wild Pio-eon ran four furlongs in 535. Moa Bird covered five furlongs under n strong pull r .t the finish, in 1.0 2-5, the fiist. three in 395. Reveal ran four in 525.
