(By Telegraph—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day. Battle Colours, Whit© Fang and Callanmore galloped well this morning. Additional scratchings: Shorts Handicap, Reremoana (11.10 a.m.); Joy King (9.45 a.m.). Also Hunting Day, Knightlike and Gold Cure. Gold Tinge improved in his gallop this morning. Heavy rain softened the track, but the weather has now cleared, and the going to-morrow at the worst will be dead.
