FEILDING STOCK SALE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, Friday. There were small yardings of both sheep and cattle at the stock sale to-day. In the fat sheep section competition was not as keen as at recent sales, with a consequent easing of prices. Breeding ewes were in good demand and sold well up to late rates. Fat shorn white face lambs made 28/ to 30/6; fat shorn black face lambs, 28/7 to 30/; fat ewes, 25/6 to 35/6; fat wethers, 36/8 to 39/6; four and five-year ewes, running with Southdown rams, 35/3; older ewes, to 27/; four and six-tooth and fouryear ewes, 38/6 to 40/; ewe lambs, 33/5; store black face lambs, 22/3 to 27/. A fair entry of dairy xattle sold on a par with late rates. The entry of fat cattle met with a keen demand. Heifers in milk made up to £7 10/; springing heifers, £6 to £9 10/: medium dairy cows in calf, £."> 5/ to £8 10/; good, £10 10/ to £13; cows in milk, £4 10/ to £10; fat steers, £0 5/ to £11; fat cows, £5 17/ to £3 5/i fat heifers, ....
