CHRISTCHURCH. Thursday.
In response to the representations made by the unemployed, the Mayor called a special meeting of the City Council for to-day to discuss the provision of relief work immediatelv.
Some of tlie unemployed have informed tlie secretary of the Jubilee Committee that they intend marching in tha prpcession oil Monday, carrying designs showing skulls and skeletons.
