ADDINGTON NOTES.

GOLDEN SUN WILL SHINE SOON. PETER BINGEN IMPROVING FAST. (By Telegraph-—Special to "Star.") ADDINGTON, Thursday. H. Gaskell continues to persevere with the trotter Little Logan. As a racing horse Little Logan promised to make a high grade trotter, but becoming affected in the wind lie failed to stay, and was practically given away by his owner to his trainer. Gaskell stuck to the Logan Pointer horse, and has won a fair amount of money with him. Although Little Logan, is naturally best suited to a short course, when in his best form he can trot a fast mile and a-half.

Logan Holm looks well, but he is now on a mark from which he will find it difficult to succeed. He has in the past been best known as a sprinter, but of late he has been raced over a two-mile course.

Jackie Audubon is doing well in his training work, and he may win again before the end of the season. He looks like making a useful two-mile performer. H. Gaskell has a brother to Logan Holm in work. The pacer is built on much the same lines as his speedy relative, and he should be an early stake winner.

Airman has come on fast since his last spell. He has always had a good turn of speed, but he has failed to do his best in a race.

Acre, who has not looked at best for some time —being very much on the light side—is building up capitally. He should show better form in his next effort.

The trotter Merrijigs seemed to go all to pieces when first brought here from the West Coast a few months ago. He was very nervous, and quite failed to show any form. The trotter is now settling down to steady work in his training, and as he has plenty of speed and is an improving sort, he should soon win a race.

N. L. Price has Kola Boy in work again. The trotter is now doing a lot of his training work at Addington, and he is fast getting into racing form. Kola Boy has become very docile. The three-year-old, Writer, seems to be building up gradually and he may furnish more next season. He is a useful pacer. N. L. Price had a two-year-old pacer by Author Dillon from Nordica at Addington this week. The youngster has done little work, and may take ' some time to come to his speed. He is somewhat on the big side, and may not be seen at his best until thoroughly matured. He is a well-built solid gelding.

Count Dee continues to please by the way he trots in his training work. He requires some racing to bring him to his best form. Peter Bingen is not being asked to do much work, as he has only recently returned to J. J. Kennerley's stable after a good spell. Peter Bingen is improving fast. Golden Sun put up quite a good performance at the recent New Brighton meeting. H. Askell should win a race with the pacer before the season is over.
