The Wanganui Trotting Club's annual meeting opened to-day, the weather being fine and -the track in splendid order. There was a moderate attendance and the totalisator returns showed a decrease Of £2158 10/ r when compared with the first day of last year's meeting, to-day's figures being £7240 10/..
