METHODIST MAORI MISSION.
CONFERENCE THIS WEEK.
The Methodist Maori 1927 Conference meets this week in Auckland. All earlier conferences have been held in Maori pahs. The last one was held at the Maori king's village, Waahi, and the one preceding was held at Te Kuiti, King Country. The delegates are already arriving, and the first session will be held to-morrow evening. The chairman, the Rev. R. Tahupotiki Haddon, arrives by the Main Trunk express to-morrow morning. The secretary, the Rev. Te Tuhi, is already in the citj' making preliminary arrangements. The delegates will be officially welcomed to the city at the Maori mission demonstration to be given in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening.
