ENGIirE-DKIVERS , DUTY. AUTOMOBILE CLUB INFORMED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. That the majority of accidents at railway level-crossings are due to the failure of engine-drivers to blow the whistle, was the contention expressed by a motorist in a communication to the Wellington Automobile Club. He quoted the instance of a narrow escajjt he had experienced at night. The secretary stated that he had brought the matter before the Railway Board, which had replied that enginedrivers had been given definite instructions in regard to whistlins at erossince.
