In the fire brigades' competition, in which 24 teams are competing, the quickdressing event, after a tie between Hastings and Mastertoii, resulted in it win for Masterton. The memorial shield, llie prize for the principal competition on the programme, was won by Waipukurau, and the live men and reel event by Taihape.
