DRIVER CUT BY GLASS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PALMERSTON NORTH, Saturday. A motor car in which were Messrs. Franks, Wilkinson, Hayne and Nelson, four members of the Masterton Bowling Club, went over a tift bank on the road seven miles from Eketahuna <m Thursday evening. The driver, Mr. W. C. Franks, received cuts from flying glass. and required two stitches in the lower portion of his face. The other members of the party, with the exception of Mr. Hayno, who received a slightly sprained ankle, escaped injury, and were able, after securing the services of a motor lorry, to pull their car back on to the road and to continue their journey.
