Murray; Roberts and Company's buildings in Liverpool Street, wnert three bales of wool and several sacks of wheat were on fire. The brigade extinguished the blaze and returned to headquarters, but at t.30 a.m. another call was received to the same building, where fire had broken out in a different part of th« store, bear the liquor bond. After the outbreak had been quelled it was discovered that the building had been set on fire in four places, aha that burglars had made a hole in the Bin wall and had pained admittance to the bond. The intruders also ripped a larpe number of sacks containing corn, thus doing" considerable damage.
