RAILWAY YARD MISHAP.

ENGINES COLLIDE AT LOOP. CREWS ESCAPE IXJURY. (By Telegraph—Presa Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. Two engines collided in the Christ - church railway yard this afternoon. It is stated that an engine drawing carriages was approaching the end of a loop when another engine was on the point of getting clear. The latter did not get clear soon enough, however, and the two locomotives collided. Both were damaged, but were still movable. They wore taken at once to the repair sheds. No one was injured.

The crew of one of the engine? jumped clear when the impact occurred.
