BROADCASTS.
(To toe Editor.) Sir, —Auckland is to be congratulated on the excellence of both material and transmission recently noted with infinite pleasure by lieteners-in. The Municipal Band", Choral Society recital and the very interesting lecturette sent out on Sunday were outstanding performances and cannot fail to have a marked effect in improving the musical taste of the community. It is to be hoped that further efforts to improve the broadcasting of the municipal organ recitals will be made, and a further three or four churches connected.—l am, etc., CRYSTALLINE.
