OFFENDED DIGNITY.

BOARD AND TEACHER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Members of the Canterbury Education Board strongly criticised an address given this week by the headmaster of the Richmond school, in which he attacked the present system of building schools in regard to ventilation, heating and quietness.

The board passed a resolution calling on the teacher in question for a description of -what he considered a model school.

"His were vain, empty words, - ' said one member.
