BILL PASSES LOWER HOUSE.
CLAUSE TO BE RECOMMITTED. (By Telegraph —Parliamentary Reporter WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. A. Harris (Waitemata) found only two supporters for a motion that the date of the operation cf the Town Planning Bill be January 1, 1928. It wag committed and passed by the House of Representatives, with a reservation that the betterment provisions would be amended by the Government when the measure was before the Legislative Council, the House to have an opportunity to consider the amendments liter on.
