ABANDONMENT POSSIBLE. POSITION OF CANADA. 1 Received 9.30 a.m.) OTTAWA. July 5. Official communications have not yet been exchanged between the Canadian and British authorities in regard to the Imperial Conference. If Canada, however, is unable to send representatives to London, and the Prime Minister cannot go because of a general election, it is assumed the conference may be postponed or abandoned.
