The conference at Honolulu took plate in tho lloana Hotel, and. lasted four days. There wore 21ti Rotarians present, including representatives of Japan, China, Australia, all the American States, and New Zealand; also over 200 guests. Tho chief effect of the cosmopolitan gathering was that it enabled the members to get a clearer conception of conditions in the Pacific, the views of all countries connected with it being expressed.
The returning delegates speak most highly of the hospitable manner in which they were entertained by the residents of Honolulu, from the very beginning of the visit, when a band was sent out on the harbour to meet the g-uests, until the end of their visit. 'American hospitality is good at any time/ said one of the Dunedin members, "bxit the people of Honolulu -'are exceptionally kind."
