TRUCK STOLEN.
PREMISES BROKEN INTO.
COLONIAL MOTOR COMPANY.
The premises of the Colonial Motor Company in Fox Street, Parnell, were burglariously entered at about 9.30 o'clock yesterday morning, and a 1-ton Ford truck was stolen. In order to remove the vehicle from the building, the person or- persons concerned sawed a padlock off the main door, apparently with a hack-saw.
The truck was numbered 4057. It had no driver's cab, and no sides. It was painted green. The engine number was 423-164.
The company's premises were broken into about six weeks ago, when the manager's cash box, which contained about £16, was stolen.
MOTOR CAR REMOVED. Last evening Mr. Raymond Finlay left his five-seater Dodge, number 3-836, outside the />tar Hotel in Albert Street. It had goji by 8 p.m. So far the police have not received any word of its having been seen. The car was painted blue, and had two spare wheels.
