The Wal&ato tennis championships -were continued to-day, with the following results: -Men's Championship Singles.—Sturt beat Johns. 7—5, 7—5. Ladies' Singles.—Miss Knight (Auckland) beat Miss MePherson (Taumarunui), 6—o, 6—2. Men's Championship Doubles.—Sturt and Knott beat Entwistle and Johns, 6—l, 6—2. Men's Junior Championship.—Semi-final : Knott beat Lamb, 6—l, G—3. The final will be played at Auckland between Knott and Sturt. Ladies' Junior Championship.—Semi-final: Miss G. Cleveley beat Miss Maloney, 7—9, o—l, 6 —3. In the final, Miss D. Nicholls (Auckland) beat Miss Cleveley. U—-1. U—3. Ladies' Championship Doubles. — Second round: Misses Bell and Hall beat Misses Nicholls and Wilson, 5—7, G—3, G—3. In the spini -final, Misses Ramsay and McPhPrson beat Mesdanies McCracken and Atkins, 6— 2, 2—G, G—3 : and Misses Knieht and Clouston beat Misses Bell and Hall, o—2. 6 —2. Combined Doubles Championship.—Second round : Wright and Miss McPherson beat Martin and Miss Smeeton, G—3, G—3; Anderson and Miss Wilson beat Brough and Miss Bruce, o—6, 7—".. 6—2.
