(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. Two cricket matches were played during Easter between Waihi and an Auckland eleven, each winning a match. The visitors scored 177 in their first innings on Saturday (C. Worth. 45, Raskilly 31, H. Warneford 23, 1 , . Williams 21, Sanderson, not out, 14). Waihi replied with 145 (Leopold 37, Hearn 18, Carter 17, Toms 14). Bowling for Waihi: Zeonovich took four wickets for 4S runs. Tunis two for 21. Bowling for Auckland: A. Warneford took three wickets for 20 runs, Sanderson two for 13. Thf second innings was not completed, the visitors thus winning by 32 runs on the first innings. On Monday another match was played, which Waihi won by IS runs alter a close finish. On this occasion Waihi scored 212 <t\ Worthington 4-1, Keatihge -12, Carter 42, Zeonovich 17, Hearn 15). Auckland responded by compiling 104 (Roskill-- r>3, Worth 47, A. Warneford 34, 11. Warneford 33, P. Williams 11). Bowling for Auckland : Worth took five wickets for 30 runs.
