WELLINGTON DEFEATS NELSON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. A cricket match, Wellington v. Nelson, resulted in a win for Wellington by an innings and 340 runs. Nelson was faced with the task of making 410 runs to save an innings defeat, but th« team collapsed in the face of the Wellington attack, with the result that the whole side was dismissed for 76 runs. The first innings of Wellington resulted in the large total of 529. Nelson, in its second innings, made 70. Neale (34) and k-lnset (14) were the only batsmen who reached double figures.
