DEATH OF MR. PAGE. SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. Mr. Page, who was badly burned while trying to Bare his motor car from the bush fire, succumbed to his injuries early this morning. He was a married man, aged 40, with four children, aged' from 8 to 14. He was prominently i associated with sports, especially footbafl! and boxing. In the former he repre-1 sented his county, and in the latter was once middle-weight champion of Canterbury. Mr. P. T. Hanrahan, son of Mr. L. Following a change of wind, steady rain last night removed all danger of further grass fires.
