OBITUARY.
YOUNG FOOTBALLER'S DEATH. A former pupil of Mount Albert Grammar School, Mr. Len Ash, has died at the early age of ID years. He was a prominent member of the school football team during the year 1024, when they successfully contested secondary schools' : championship. He had the misfortune to receive an injury which resulted in the amputation of his left leg in July last. Complications set in. which resulted in His death on January 26. Of a bright and nappy disposition, he wai a general iayounte, and made many friends. The | interment took place at Hillsboro' Cemetery, the pallbearers being prefects of Mount Albert Grammar School.
