In reporting that lie had compiled and ideposited the valuation list for 192ii-^7, I tin , valuer paid there were now 2.->.(>si> 'assessments, as compared with LJ3.KX'2 for last year, an increase of 1"J:14. The i additional assessments were principally the results of land subdivision in (Jrey i Lynn. Keinuera, and Point Chevalier. Tlie total ratable value was £2.135,.">9"i, which ainoiiut was subject to revision by nil Assessment Court. I Last year's ratable value after the revision by the Assessment Court was £1,072.(128. so that there was an increase of £!<;."■>.o(>4, or 5.4 per cent.
