WAR ON RHEUMATISM.
(To the Editor.. Sir. —I can endorse the letter by "Truth-seeker" in Saturday's •'Star," attributing rheumatism mainly to wrong diet. 1 find by eating uiR-ooked vegetables. .<ui-h as lettuce. radishes, tomatoes, cress, etc., also plenty of fresh fruit and wholemeal bread instead of white flour bread, that rheumatism does not trouDle mc. At the age of 2S I was on crutches with it. At that time my teeth were considered to be the cause, and after the extraction of a defective wi.-dom tooth I recovered. I have had a few slight attacks during the past 30 years. Proper diet ensures prevention, not only to rheumatism, but almost all the ills to which flesh is heir.—l am, el.-., GRAND-DAD. /
