PENSIONS FOR VETERANS.
(To the Kditor.) Sir, —l should like to call attention to what I consider the unfair treatment of veterans. Old age pensions have been increased a few shillings, but nothing lias been done for us. Surely if the Government of Kiigland does not debar a man with a military pension from receiving the old age pension it would be an act of decency to allow us few to receive the same treatment in recognition of past services. There was a lot said about raising pensions at election time, and now is the time to give these promises effect. There is do more deserving class than ihe veterans.—l am, etc.. A X.Z. VETERAN.
