I COMPLAINTS IN GERMANY. j I ALLIES IN CONSULTATION. j LONDON. January 19. I The British Government is at present' drawing the attention of France and Bel- j gium to Germany's representations > regarding the number of Allied troops ! in the Rhineland, with a view to a suit- ! able reply being sent to Berlin after I consultation among the Allies. I A message from the German capital says that, regarded in the light of the German demarche, interest attaches to the periodical report of the inter-Allied Military Control Commission, which has just been forwarded to Paris. This records satisfactory progress in the, carrying out of the Allied demands con- j periling disarmament, and fair progress' in regard to effectives. : The date when the commission will. terminate its work depend?, on Germany's , willingness to settle the few points now ■ outstanding.— (Reuter.)
