BIBLE CLASS MISREPRESENTED
(To the Editors Sir, —A certain political organisation operating in the Auckland district has surely been seriously misinformed about a Bible class meeting at which an address was given by a member of Parliament from another district. No party politics were introduced, but the speaker dealt with the Christianas duty to his fellow men, and his attitude towards social evils, making frequent reference to the parable in which Christ used the words, "Inasmuch as ye did it not. . . " The only resolution passed at the meeting was one of thanks to the speaker, and an invitation to give another address at a future date. There was no reference made to any candidate at this election, and certainly no pledge indicating support of those present for any political party. As chairman of the meeting 1 request you to make this matter public. 1 am, etc., ■ P>. T. SANDO.
