THE PARIS STRIKE.
COMMUNISTS LOSE. PARIS. October 14. The newspapers say that the general strike which was called by the Com-rti'ii.-ts ''"is' f.iiVrt i."-"ond ,ilt expectations. This demonstrates that the Communists have no true force of public opinion behind them. Fifty members of the police force were injured in Monday's disturbances, chiefly by revolver shots. The Government has refused to release the Communist Doriot—("Sun.")
