RUGBY OF EMPIRE.
AN ADVISORY BOARD. LONDON, October 14. At a meeting of the London Society of Rugby Referees, Mr. Rowland Hill (chair man) said that, in view of the unanimous recommendation of the recent Imperial Conference that an Advisory Board should be set up, a meeting of representatives of the English Union and those of New Zealand. South Africa, and Xew South Wales should be held annually in November or December. Notice of the matters to be discussed at those meetings should be sent to the Dominions in order that their conclusions could be remitted to the English Union and be 1,,.,..,...+ i„>t n -r. -i| o ,n m ,-l meeting of the International Board in March. If the same code of laws did not exist throughout the Rueby world, the Dominions would drift away. That would be a very great calamity to the game.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
