AUSTRALIAN NEWSPRINT. (Received 12.30 p.m.. SYDNEY, this day. The annual report of the Country Press Association, which will be presented on Tuesday next, referring to the newsprint industry, states that there are proposals being developed in Victoria and West Australia which, if given a free field, will undoubtedly result in the production of Australian newsprint on terms favourable to consumers.— (A. and N.Z.)
