STATE TRADING.
POSITION IN QUEENSLAND. (Received 12.30 p.m.. BRISBANE, this day. The State Trading Commissioners' report revealed that after extraordinary losses totalling £808,825 had been written off State trading ventures, last year's operations showed a profit of £33.354. It also reveals that all State trading enterprises, except the railway refreshment rooms, were indebted to the Treasury to the extent of £1,528,202.— (A. and" N.Z. Cable.)
