POLICE RECOVER SPOIL.
A LOS ANGELES ROBBERY. MUCH BURIED TREASURE. (Received 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 14. Following a robbery at Los Angeles of a registered mail last week, the police raided a garage at Fan Pedro, the depot of the supposed robbers, and arrested four men and seized IOO.OOOdoI worth of bonds 'buried under the floor. 300.000d0l in cash and 40 watches were buried in a nearby field. — (A. and N.Z.)
