■ ■ MOTOR CYCLIST SKIDS. INJURIES TO THE HEAD. After fa-ling rrom his skidding motor tycle and being thrown under a trajncar. Mr. Reginald Victor Keefe, a foreman employed by Messrs .'. JCraig, Ltd.. escaped with injuries to tbe head. The injured man was neanng the intersection of St. Luke's Road and the New North H.oad. Morningside. about five o'clock yesterday afternoon. when his motor cycle skidded on tne wet roadway. He fell under a tramcar that was stationary at the time. It was a difficult matter to extricate i Mr. Keefe from his unenviable position. It was found necessary to use jacks to raise the car. He was immediately removed to the hospital where several stitches were inserted in a -wound m the head. The injury is not considered serious. Mr. Eieefe is a married man. aged 34 years. residing at Kowhai Street. Grey Lynn.
