Mr. Blomneld said that an injunction seemed to be the only way to i-<:eep tiie squatter- off the land. Mr. Blomfeid: These natives have been repeatedly convicted. Mr. Singer said the Maori- would pack up their tents and belonging and ; leave the land: and they were informed throush an interpreter that an interim order for injunction had been made compelling them to carry out their promise. The question of costs was deferred.
