OBITUARY.

MR. W. A. ANDERSON.

The flag at the Northern Club floated at half-mast to-day out of respect to the memory of a member, Mr. Walter Archibald Andersort; who died last evening in his 50th year. Mr. Anderson has been an invalid for some years, having. to be wheeled round in a chair. The cheerful manner in which he bore hU affliction endeared him to his fellow members in the club. Sir. Anderson underwent an operation yesterday afternoon, which was performed successfully, , but he collapsed" and died shortly afterwards. Deceased waa Born in Scotland, and at the time of his death was a partner in the firm of Anderson and Mirekin, merchants, of Vancouver. He has resided at the Northern Club since 1917. Mr. Anderson never married. The funeral takes place at 3 o'clock to-morrow.
