RUGBY FOOTBALL.
GRAFTON CLUB. . The annual meeting of the Grafton Amateur Rugby Football Clnb was held In the club's training shed, Enfleld Street, there being an attendance of over 100. Sir James Gunson presided, and as an old Grafton player himself, in his introductory remarks referred to the original formation, of the club and the subsequent acquirement of the present training shed. Sir James also made special mention of the services rendered by the club's representative, Mr. A. E. Coolce, in the All Black team at Home during the past tour. Mr. E. Cucksey, an old member and a club mate of Sir .lames', also briefly addressed the meeting, and gave valuable advice on training and discipline. The following officers were elected :— Patron, Hγ. W. MoKIPch; president. Sir James Gunaon; vice-presidents, same as previous year; secretary, T. McConneli; clnb captain, T. Marshal! : delegates to A.R.U., ». Jones, T. Marshall, W. F. Allen; delegate to junior advisory board, L. Nairn: management committee.- W. B. Cameron, K. Elelander, T. Marshall, A. Emery, at Eaiitpr, J. XisotuMany new members were elected, and the prospects for the coming season are exceedingly bright.
