Glorious weather fnvoured the Rocky Nook Club on the occasion of rts annual Open Fours Tournament, held on St. Patrick's Day. The green accommodation was taxed to ita utmost capacity, the twenty teams taking part including most of the leading players of the Auckland Centre. - — Section play consisted of five games each of eleven heads, the ultimate section winners being:— A Section.—R. R. Rule, G. O. Blakey, A. H. Roylance, J. Wakerley (Rocky Nook;. B Section.—E. Farrow, A. J. Letham, L. Hilton, E. Jury (Ponsonby). C Section.—A. Angus, A. Constantine, A. Cutforth, R. J. Alleley (Mount Albert). D Section. —W. Thomas, J. Walters, J. Newton, E. Thomas (Mount Albert). In the semi-tinals. Jury had a comfortable win over Alleley, while Wakerley's team failed to reproduce their form against Thomas. The final between Ponaonby and Mount Albert will be played on Rocky Nook green, probably on Saturday.
