CALEDONIAN SPORTS. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") MASTERTON. this day. At the Wairarapa Caledonian Society's sports the ambulance competition was won by Waingawa No. 1 team, with 75 points, with Auckland and Waingawa No. 2 teams second with 70 points each. Waingawa thus regained the Cooper Shield from Auckland. Tbe two' miles provincial running championship was won by R. A. Rose. Wellington, with G. Budd, .Wanganui, second, and E. C. Rose, Wellington, third.
