VACTORY HANDS' EXPERIMENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) STRATFOKD, Monday. At the Police Court to-day, Mr. Mowleni, S.M.. fined a young man named Eric Becre £40 on a charge of bookmaking. Eleven other persons were fined £23 each on charges of betting with him. Beere is a dairy factory hand and made a small double chart, laying "£lO to 4/." Visitors to the factory were persuaded to take chances. Beere got into a disputation at an hotel over the book, and fell into the hands of the police. He handed full information to the police sergeant.
