TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD.
ELECTION OF MEMBERS TO-DAY. A poll is being taken to-day to elect five members to constitute the West Tamaki Road Board. It is anticipated that to-day'e election will be close and interesting, quite a large number of votes being recorded this morning at the various booths. For the five seats the following are candidates seeking election:—Messrs. F. G. Baekett, S. C.Caailton. C. M. Gray, L. J. Keys, M. G. MoArthur. G. Xevill. C. Phillips, S. 'r. Pilkington. A. T. Pycroft, and W. H. Reynold. Messrs. Keys, Reynold, and Pil« kington were members oi\ho late board. The voting hours are from 9 a.m. to( 6 p.m. at the following polling booths: — Board office, St. He!ier"e Bay, Chapman's store, Kohimarama, and at the M-anukau County Council's office Auckland.
